Thank you for using GM Lighting’s V120 wet location tape configurator. With your basic layout, you can automatically configure a complete V120 application, and turn it into an order that we will configure, assemble and ship to you. All you need to do is install. Please have your dimensions ready to input, and leave the rest to the configurator.

Before You Start

1. Determine the size of your 120V LED tape application: Including corners, impediments, obstructions and areas where you will be using connectors. Connectors can be hard 90° or TTC Flexible. (V120 TTC = Flexible & V120 90° = Hard)

2. Have wall to wall dimensions ready:  The V120 Configurator will calculate your run to account for different connector lengths and the selected tape section lengths. A section includes tape and connectors (i.e. Standard Output (SO), High Output (HO) and Super High Output (SHO) = Sections are cuttable every 4”).  These lengths plus the lengths of connectors are calculated into your total run.  You may select multiple runs that are calculated separately.

3. If needed, utilize our product catalog or product page on the website to familiarize yourself with Vision120’s Standard, High Output, and Super High before start: Also, be aware of maximum runs. The system will not allow a configuration longer than factory spec for maximum runs.

Maximum Run by Output. Your application should not be longer than the following, when connecting to one 120V power source:

  • Vision 120 Standard Output
    • Max. Run 163 feet
  • Vision 120 High Output
    • Max. Run 149 feet
  • Vision 120 Super-High Output
    • Max. Run 59 feet

The maximum run does not include lengths of 'power to tape' and 'tape to tape' connectors.

Don’t forget accessories: Your Vision120™ application can be enhanced with channels, mounting clips, end caps and other accessories.

Please see Configurator Typical Layout Example - Master Bedroom Below:  This typical run is comprised of (5) sections of tape, (4) connectors that include 3 90° and one tape to tape flexible connector, an End Cap and a Tape to Power Plug-In Connector.  If you choose Standard Output, High or Super High Output, the Configurator will cut every 4”.  If the length of each wall or section does not conform exactly to the length of tape and connector, the nearest length will be calculated.
